October: Embracing Runes and Advancing CAT20 🍁
Runes Activation 🧙♂️
We're kicking off October with the activation of Runes on Fractal. This implementation will be consistent with the Runes protocol on the main network.
Through SimpleBridge, interaction between Runes on Bitcoin (denoted as uppercase) and runes on Fractal (denoted as lowercase) will be made possible.
CAT20 Indexing and Transfer 🐱
UniSat Wallet will soon index and display cat20 assets, supporting on-chain transfers of these innovative tokens. Additionally, UniSat Explorer will be updated to index and display cat20 transaction status, providing full visibility into these operations.
Trustless CAT20 Trading 🤝
UniSat will be introducing a groundbreaking cat market for trustless cat20 trading. This permissionless system, based on Bitcoin scripts, will support both buy and sell orders with more flexibility than traditional PSBT methods. This will enable more Fractal users to easily access cat20 assets.
November: Governance, Swaps, and Protocol Enhancements 🍂
Fractal Voting and Governance 🗳️
November brings the introduction of our OP_CAT-based voting model, where you can participate in governance by locking FB. This innovative approach will gradually be the main form of transparent on-chain governance within our community, empowering FB holders to have a say in Fractal's future.
The first vote will be… something fun to look forward to! 😉
PizzaSwap Iteration 🍕
PizzaSwap will be getting a major upgrade. There will be added support for LP locking, staking, and reward-earning. Moreover, PizzaSwap will be open to all Fractal tickers, enhancing liquidity and trading options for Fractal users.
Performance Optimizations ⚡
There will be significant performance optimizations for brc-20, runes, and cat20 protocols. As core contributor to Fractal, UniSat aims to improve the performance for these protocols on Fractal — bringing indexing and wallet response times down to 15-30 seconds, providing a smoother, faster experience for all users.
December: Cross-Chain Swaps and Further PizzaSwap Enhancements ❄️
zkAtomicSwap Implementation 🔄
December will see the implementation of zkAtomicSwap, enabling effective atomic swaps. This breakthrough will allow trustless trading of assets between the Bitcoin main network and Fractal main network, bridging these ecosystems securely without the need for a third party.
Advanced CAT Protocol Support (CAT721 & CAT-dApps) 🐾
UniSat products will provide full support for the CAT protocol, with further optimizations on the product side to enhance user experience and functionality.
PizzaSwap Main Network Upgrade 🍕🚀
Upon completion of the brc-20 swap module upgrade on the main network, PizzaSwap will consistently support both the Bitcoin main network and Fractal main network, expanding trading possibilities for our users.
